Dr. Jim Anderson To Present Keynote Speech At Cloud Computing Seminar

Dr. Jim Anderson presented the keynote address at the first annual Cloud Architecture Symposium that is was put on by Software Architecture Symposiums International. The conference was held on Friday, May 18th, 2012. Dr. Anderson’s cloud computing presentation was titled “How To Change The World In 1,825 Days”.

In this presentation, Dr. Anderson discussed how the arrival of cloud computing is changing everything for IT departments. Specifically, the jobs that an IT department and it’s staff used to perform will no longer be needed. What’s an IT professional to do?

Dr. Anderson explores why companies are rushing to adopt cloud computing solutions. He points out that although current IT skills are no longer going to be needed, there is going to be a growing need for skilled IT workers. The trick is to make sure that you have the right set of skills.
